This was my second trip to Bunaken. My first was 45 days prior and TSA broke my housing. An opportunity arose for a short consulting job and Singapore and who could refuse another diving opportunity to Bunaken. Bunaken is very close to Lembeh, so the wide angle reef shots of Bunaken gives great contrast to the incredible macro shots of Lembeh. Bunaken has several VERY large turtles that are very used to divers. It is easy to get great wide angle shots of these magnificent creatures. The reef has huge patches of healthy Acropora and other hard corals as well as colorful patches of soft corals. Great location for wide angle, but also macro for the many interesting critters.
